Shannon has performed in more than 40 productions with New York City Opera, where she has worked since 1997. Highlights of her time there include representing the United States in classical music at the World Expo in Japan, performing in Madama Butterfly and Little Women.

Clowning Around

A buffoon or jester who entertains by jokes, antics, and tricks in a circus, play, or other presentation. That\'s me! (Except I\'ve never actually been in a circus. Boo hoo.)

Shannon is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, The William Esper Studio for the Professional Actor and the New York Goofs Clown School. She is originally from Southwestern Virginia and lives in New York City with her husband Gary and dog Gus.
